happy new year! it’ now 2o12. & i guess that means that i should end this blog now. im happy that i documented my life for a whole year, & i recommend that everyone try it once. because one year ago, i could never have imagined that some of the things that happened this year would have happened. but they did. a lot of things are really different now. other things are so much the same.
but it’s alright, because there’s some really good people who are there for me when i do dumb shit. & that’s all i have to say.
so christmas came & went. i got clothes, books, cds. & lots of spandex. yesterday the whole family went bowling & i got to see cousins who dont exist to me for 360 days of the year. & then i went over to my friends house, where we watched a movie with a disappointing ending and stuff. then i stayed up way to late and slept until noon today. i did pretty much nothing all day. i would like to fast forward to new years eve now.
yesterday was day 1 of the annual sister sister christmas baking extravaganza. we baked all day yesterday. & then spent a good 3 or 4 hours in the middle of the night/morning making “never fail fudge”. then we went to sleep at 3 am, only to wake up at 8:30 & realize that we had, in fact, failed. so round 2 of fudge! we messed that up too.. third time was the charm. we continued baking this afternoon, & all through the evening. still. not. done.
going on wednesday of my christmas break. friday night we had a party here with the exchange students. if my family ever gets another one, i want a boy who is fun. or really just anyone with a personality.. anyway, after that i went over for a movie night & some stuffqkspobltcjsjakzuvciardmxerrr.. then zoo lights on saturday night with the group was really fun. also on saturday night: the last troops crossed the Iraqi border ending almost nine years of war. weeeee. i feel like this war has been going on my whole life.
tonight we continued the tradition of going to see the nutcracker. i definitely like it a thousand times more now than i ever did when i was younger & secretly dreaded going to see it. also, its been around 40 degrees for almost a week, which is kind of sad because everyone wants snow around christmas. 4 days until christmas and it couldnt come sooner.
actually, more like one to go because one is band & the other is a presentation. going to school for 2 hours &coming home at 9:30 makes my days seem so long. i feel like its 12 but its 9pm. sheeeesh. i made oatmeal cream pies this afternoon. they are quite delicious, especially with some ohjay. so good. i still can’t figure out what to do for the best friend for christmas. gah.
tomorrow is monday, which means no exams and 5 more days until break. i wish my grades were stellar, but theyre not. ill try harder next semester. no i wont.
today i fell asleep & woke up at 7 pm, thinking it was morning. i also woke up early this morning with bruises from sleepwalking. oy vey.
i also wrote two papers, studied, and had my first flute lesson in like three months.
oh, & i got some interesting drunk texts last night.. hm.
ive been studying for an ap bio test for 5 hours. and its not even tomorrow, its on friday. but my night wasnt terrible, because i have.. new plans for new years. (: kind of. well see if they are carried out or not. anyway, late start and doctor appointment this morning, so i didnt have to go to school until noon. then i took a long nap afterwards. it snowed the tiniest bit today. im ready for real snow.
